I think the article ought to be moved to Big 12 Men's Basketball Championship, as that is the tournament's official name. Borksamoht 20:40, 10 March 2007 (UTC)

The problem then is that all of the Big 12 Men's Basketball Tournament pages would have to be changed and re-linked. Besides, If we want to be really official, we should call it 2007 Phillip's 66 Men's Basketball Championship. But all other Conference Tournament pages call it a tournament rather than a championship (see [1] for a list, including the Big Ten, Pac Ten, ACC, SEC, etc. We need to keep the standard. I do think, though, that we should mention the Official name in the article. I will make an edit. Wrad 23:33, 10 March 2007 (UTC)
