[edit] Other versions
"Bigger Than My Body" was performed live on tour following the release of Heavier Things. In that tour, Mayer had several concerts recorded, four of which were then sold online on iTunes entitled "As/Is". "Bigger Than My Body" appeared on two fo these releases, the Californian performance at Mountain View and the Texan performance at The Woodlands (which runs for 6:17, almost two minutes longer than the album and single version). The concerts were then compiled into a "best of as/is" CD, however "Bigger Than My Body" didn't make the cut. The reason from this is unknown, as it is common that an artist will include their current single (as this song was) in any releases made additional to the studio album. Mayer repeated this when releasing his EP The Village Sessions, which didn't include Gravity, even though it was due to be released as a single shortly after its release. On Mayer's former website, an acoustic version of "Bigger Than My Body" was available to listen to using its music player, however this version has never been made available otherwise.
When played on the radio, the bridge was shortened for radio friendliness, alike to the bridge in "Your Body Is a Wonderland".
