Bigelow is a city in Nobles County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 231 at the 2000 census.

As of the census2 of 2000, there were 231 people, 87 households, and 62 families residing in the city. The population density was 234.7/km² (610.7/mi²). There were 96 housing units at an average density of 97.5/km² (253.8/mi²). The racial makeup of the city was 92.64% White, 0.43% Native American, 0.87% Asian, 6.06% from other races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 7.36% of the population.

There were 87 households out of which 42.5% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 62.1% were married couples living together, 9.2% had a female householder with no husband present, and 27.6% were non-families. 23.0% of all households were made up of individuals and 5.7% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.66 and the average family size was 3.10.

In the city the population was spread out with 30.7% under the age of 18, 8.7% from 18 to 24, 32.5% from 25 to 44, 18.2% from 45 to 64, and 10.0% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 32 years. For every 100 females there were 111.9 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 97.5 males.

The median income for a household in the city was $32,750, and the median income for a family was $38,750. Males had a median income of $30,417 versus $18,125 for females. The per capita income for the city was $15,227. About 13.2% of families and 12.2% of the population were below the poverty line, including none of those under the age of eighteen and 21.9% of those sixty five or over.
