"Big Spender" has been covered by many artists, including the band Queen, who used to perform it live back in the early '70's, and also performed it live once at Wembley Stadium on July 12th, 1986. Queen's performance is notable because it changed the song from its original "musical" feeling to a rock song.
Another notable version of the song was recorded by Peggy Lee in 1968, which became a hit on the U.S. Easy Listening charts in that year.
