Big Mountain Ski Resort is a ski resort located about 8 miles north of Whitefish, Montana. It is about 19 miles from Glacier Park International Airport. It is the second largest ski area in Montana, after Big Sky Resort. Once a small regional ski area, large condominium and housing developments near the mountain have increased its popularity. This has seen lift ticket prices at $52 for a one-day and $36 dollars for half a day. Rentals for one adult ski package (skis, boots, and poles) is $25 dollars.
