Big Mountain 2000 is a skiing and snowboarding racing game released for the Nintendo 64 in 2000. The king of all mountains wants some face-time with you! Face off on your choice of either snowboard or skis. Nasty hills, turns and jumps help you shred the laws of gravity as you Freestyle it, solo, or compete against other snowhounds. Ready to challenge the Big Mountain? There are three (3) different modes to choose from. Time Attack, Multi-Player (2 players maximum) and Championship. You can design your own gear, including equipment, and clothing. Also you can increase our skils, and your choice of courses. Instant replay lets you relieve your greatest - and not so greatest - moves. Your stamina meter means the more you fall, the harder it becomes to get back up. There are six (6) characters of wildly varying skill levels to choose from.
The game was released in Japan under the title Snow Speeder in 1998 almost two years before its North American release.
