Big Fat Joe

This was a 1940s character in the British children's comic The Beano. In 1950, he joined Lord Snooty's gang.

He first appeared in the first ever Beano when a circus man called him ababy elephant at a swimming pool. He soon got his own back though, covering the man in water.
