Big Brother is one of the first reality shows. This is a very popular television program from Endemol (television production company). Endemol is the most important supplier of TV2.
The Big Brother Hungary was running on TV2.

The first series started on September 1, 2002, and ended on 21 December, 2002. In this time there was another reality show on RTL Klub, but BB1 knocked out that from the hungarian tv popularity top 10. The show also known as Nagy Testvér, which means Big Brother. There was 12 contestants:
