Bietigheim-Bissingen is the second biggest town in the district of Ludwigsburg, Baden-Württemberg, Germany with 42,145 inhabitants in 2005. It is situated on the river Enz, close to its confluence with the Neckar, about 22 km north of Stuttgart, and 20 km south of Heilbronn.

- 287 m long Bietigheim Enz Valley Bridge (German: "Bietigheimer Enzviadukt") (built in 1853)

Bietigheim-Bissingen is an important junction for the railroad connecting Stuttgart with Heilbronn, Karlsruhe and Heidelberg. Additionally the S-Bahn line 5 has got its origin here.

- Barbara Wilhelmine Vaigle (1858-1925), mother of the diarist Friedrich Kellner, was born in Bissingen. She married Georg Kellner. Their son, Friedrich, was born in Vaihingen an der Enz. Later the family moved to Mainz, where Friedrich would become a justice inspector in the Mainz courthouse, and a political activist for the Social Democratic Party. During the war, at risk to his life, Friedrich wrote the Friedrich Kellner Diary.
