Biešankovičy

Biešankovičy also spelled Beshankovichy (Belarusian: Бешанко́вічы; Russian: Бешенко́вичи, Bashenkovichi) is a town in the Vitebsk Province of Belarus and a port on the Western Dvina river. It is 51 km west of Vitebsk on the railway line between Orsha and Lepiel. The population is 9,430 (1992).
