Bicester Community College is a mixed, multi-heritage, comprehensive school, with around 1200 students (including a sixth form). It is situated in Bicester, Oxfordshire, United Kingdom, and occupies a spacious and attractive 32 acre site leading off Queens Avenue. In 1998 the Department for Education and Skills (DfES) designated the school as a specialist Technology College. The College gained School Achievement awards in 2001 and 2002; and in 2006 achieved membership of the Most Improved Specialist Schools Club.
Bicester Community College is unfortuntely the worst secondary school in Oxfordshire with regards to it's GCSE results.BBC News League Table Cynthia Bartlett (headteacher) hopes to turn the school around or, it is believed, she will retire.[citation needed]
