Biastophilia

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Biastophilia (from Greek biastes, "rape" + -philia) is a paraphilia in which sexual arousal is dependent on, or is responsive to, the act of sexually assaulting an unconsenting person, especially a stranger. Biastophilia is a common trait in serial killers. It is sometimes confused with raptophilia, that is, the paraphilia in which sexual arousal is responsive to being raped.
