Bhuapur is located at 24.4583° N 89.8667° E . It has 32145 units of house hold and total area 225.02 km².

As of 1991 Bangladesh census^GRBangladeh, Bhuapur has a population of 177095. Males constitute are 51.65% of the population, and females 48.35%. This Upazila's eighteen up population is 87854.
