Bhong

Bhong, a small but important town of Pakistan, and is located in a sub-district (in Udru called tahsil) Sadiqabad dist Rahim yar Khan. It is 200 kilometers away from Bhawalpur. In the town is Bhong Mosque, the only mosque in Pakistan which received the "Agha Khan Architectural Award". This mosque is very beautiful and is a tourist attraction.
The geographical coordinates of Bhong are 28° 25' 0" North, 69° 55' 0" East.Bhong is the ancestral land of the Indhur tribe of Rajput descend.

There is also a charity trust hospital "AlGhazi Trust Hospital" http://www.alghazith.org.pk in Bhong built by Sardar Rais Wazir Ahmed Indhur who is the son of Sardar Rais Ghazi Muhammad . Sardar Rais Ghazi Muhammad Indhur build the beautiful Bhong Mosque. Bhong is the ancestoral land of the Indhur tribe which migrated from Jasalmir (india ) and settled down in this region more than 300 years ago.
