Bhavna Malkani is a UK film director and music journalist. She won Best London Film Convention award at the Portobello Film Festival in London, during 2006 for the documentary Guilty or Innocent of Using the N Word.

She attended Goldmiths College from 1999-2002, studying Sociology and Communication Studies and Southampton Institute from 2003-2005 studying an MA ind Media and Documentary filmmaking.

Malkani is also a regular contributor to hip hop website Allhiphop.com
