Bharti Enterprises is a large business conglomerate based in New Delhi, India, operating primarily across India and in the Seychelles.

As of November 24, 2006, its approximate market capitalisation was Rs. 1.168 trillion (approximately USD 26 billion at that day's exchange rate).[1]

Bharti's primary industry is in the field of telecommunications via its subsidiary companies Bharti Airtel (mobile telecommunications) and Bharti Teletech (wired telecommunication services and telephone handsets).

Recently the company has become more involved in the food economic sectors, with a joint partnership in the agricultural company FieldFresh[2] and it has tied-up with Wal-Mart for opening a chain of retail stores all over India.

They have even ventured in to the Insurance sector with a partnership with AXA.
