Bharathi vidhya bhavan matriculation Higher Secondary School (BVB) is a co-educating institution run by Mr.L.K.M. who is by profession a doctor in the Erode District of Tamil Nadu, India.

Bharathi Vidhya Bhavan serves the educational requirements of the needy by offering education for a nominal fee. The educational quality, in general, is good and the school has produced a rich set of accomplished alumni who are contributing to various domains. Many students have had the rich experience of being taught by a core group of dedicated teachers who played a part in shaping up their lives.[citation needed]

The school is a blend of classrooms and open play grounds reflecting good initial planning and subsequent neglect. It places an emphasis on discipline (caning is a much-followed method of instilling discipline) and as with most schools in India, the teachers do not like to be questioned by the students. Lest it be thought of as "old-school", It does accept technology well and does so early. Case in point: students of the school had access to computers as early as the early eighties. The school attempts to provide a well-rounded education to students by allocating liberal time and resources for arts, crafts and games, an aspect sorely lacking in many Indian schools.

As with any good school that is affordable to the poor, can safely claim to have helped shape up the lives of many students and to have brought many families out of poverty.
