Bhai Amrik Singh was President of Sikh Students Federation from 1977 to 1984. He was killed on 6th June 1984 at Harmandir Sahib (Amritsar) during fighting with the ([Indian Army]]). He gave new life to Sikh Students Federation with the help of Sant Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale.
