Bhaad-gaaule

Bhaad-gaaule or Bhad-gaole refers to:

  • A resident of the place Bhadgaon in Nepal.
  • A black type of cap/topi especially made in Bhadgaon/Bhaktapur/Khwopa of Nepal and is a part of Newari traditional dress. This has been adopted as a part of Nepali National Dress for men also as an alternative to the Palpali Dhaka topi. We can see the use of this cap in the following video - a Newari song - as well as in the images below.
