BH Air

BH Air (Balkan Holidays Airlines) is a charter airline based in Sofia, Bulgaria. It is the charter arm of Balkan Holidays International with charter flights to the UK, Scandinavia, Germany, Israel and Switzerland, as well as ad hoc charters to other destinations. Its main base is Varna Airport, with hubs at Sofia Airport, Plovdiv International Airport (PDV) and Burgas Airport[1].

The airline was established on 1 January 2002 and started operations on 10 January 2002. It was formed as a joint venture between Balkan Holidays Bulgaria and Hemus Air. Services were launched with four 157-seat Tupolev Tu-154M aircraft. It is wholly owned by Balkan Holidays International and has 211 employees[1].
