BGS Sixth Form

The Boston Grammar School for Sixth Form is an extention of the Boston Grammar School. The school recently added the Sixth Form block, consisting of, 2 study rooms, a common room, and a classroom. For the creation extra staff have been taken on. The Current Head Boy is, Adam Shergold, his deputy is David Walder. These 2 lead a team of 5 senior prefects, who in turn lead extra 36 prefects. These prefects share duties within the school, for example the canteen is supervised on a thursday by Ben Charlton & Jon Bent. The sixth formers who don't achieve the accolade of becoming a prefects, are affectionately known as defects, Jordan Baumber is a prime example. High achievers in the sixth form include Jamie Maskell and Shane Perkins. The sixth form is balanced with work and fun, Jamie Elsey takes up the role of comedian. The school has a fierce rivalry with local secondary school The Giles, whose sixth form is larger. Katie Langley is the star pupil at The Giles.
