[edit] Octane-1,8-diol
Can you indicate in the article why the chemical is important? Wikipedia can't possibly have an article about every chemical, so significance is very important here. --N Shar 23:56, 11 February 2007 (UTC)
- First, welcome to the wikiproject chemicals. Always good to have more people join that, there is always work to be done.
- I upgraded the Wikipedia:Chemical infobox in octane-1,8-diol to a {{chembox new}}, we are trying to use that box from now on, it is easier to handle, can contain more data, and has some other nice advantages. You can read more about it on the template page ({{chembox new}}). See you around, and happy editing! --Dirk Beetstra T C 23:37, 17 February 2007 (UTC)
