You disagree about my comments on the cultural significance of Bez? OK, I admit they could have been more soberly expressed, but the article is rather short at the moment, and when I was a lad, Bez was a figure of considerable hilarity who my friends and I worshipped. Something along these lines belongs in the article. Don't you think? The Singing Badger 22:51, 10 Aug 2004 (UTC)

i dont no where else to write this but bez wasnt a founding member of the 'Happy Mondays' he was invited into the band sometime afterwards by the lead singer Shaun Ryder. Im sorry for the inappropriate placeing of this comment but im stupid.
[edit] Overemphasis of significance?
Would this page perhaps be better placed at Mark Berry or Bez (Dancer). I find it hard to imagine he's one of the most important 17576 (=26^3) topics of conversation of all time in the english speaking world.... 213.232.66.5 07:32, 7 May 2005 (UTC)
- No, he's very well known as Bez in the UK but relatively few people know his real name. If anyone comes up with another article that needs to be titled 'Bez' then they can create a disambiguation page, but unless that happens I don't think there's any reason to move the article. [edit] Involvement with Flowered Up
Didn't bez get involved in the Flowered Up video, Weekender, which he produced, or was he the main character. I'm sure it was him, but it's a while since I saw it.
Its a shock to see that there are people out there who do not know that BEZ is a huge cultural icon - the biggest legend and survivor of the baggy generation... I will have to add some facts to this... Hoever this is wrong "They were the first unsigned band to be shown on and supported by VH2 and MTV2." many unsigned bands have appeared on here
I'd like to add that Bez now lives in Chorlton, Manchester
