Beyerdynamic GmbH & Co. KG (spelled with a lower-case b) is a German audio equipment manufacturer, which produces microphones, headphones, wireless audio systems and conference systems. Beyerdynamic has remained a family-owned company since it was founded in 1924.

The company was founded in Berlin, in 1924. Its first product were loudspeakers for movie theaters. In 1937 beyerdynamic began manufacturing headphones model DT 48, which it claims to be the world's first dynamic headphones. The "transistophone", the company's first wireless microphone went into production in 1962. In 1998 beyerdynamic presented its first wireless conference system.
In 1948 the company moved from Berlin to Heilbronn. In 1960 it moved into larger buildings in Heilbronn, which today house their 260 employees.
