Beware, The Snowman is the fifty-first Goosebumps title, written by R. L. Stine. The story is about a girl named Jaclyn who lives with her auntie in a place where it snows. Over the next few days stuff gets stolen and destroyed and the girl finds out it's Mr. Snowman. She has a final showdown with the snowman who says he killed her dad. Then the girl's auntie comes and tells the girl the snowman is actually her father.
This is a direct take on the revelation in Star Wars The Empire Strikes Back in which Darth Vader reveals to Luke Skywalker that he is his father, when Obi-Wan had said that Vader in fact killed Luke's father.
The book was first published in January of 1997.
