[edit] Formula 1

She was shunned on the F1 pitlane not because she was a woman (as she has claimed: many women work in F1, particularly in PR, and there are no complaints) but because she asked stupid and pointless questions, concentrated on fashion and glamour stories and shots and clearly knew absolutely nothing about the sport she was "reporting" on. F1 folk felt that she had the job because of her glamour and looks, and her work seemed to support this claim. 86.17.247.135 01:15, 23 November 2006 (UTC) PS I'll try to find the interview of Louise Goodman (her successful colleague at F1 ITV and a real journalist and F1 fan) in which she (Goodman) pours scorn over Turner's claims about pitlane sexism.

You are right, I remember that interview with Louise Goodman where she says Beverley Turner was wrong to claim sexism and prejudice in the pit lane. Sounds to me and others (clearly) like sour grapes from a failed 'reporter'. 62.25.106.209 15:21, 28 November 2006 (UTC)
