Bev Hansen served as a California State Assemblywoman from the 7th district from 1986 until 1992. In 1993, she was defeated by Maurice Johannessen in the Republican primary for the special election to the 4th State Senate district. Hansen is currently a lobbyist for Lang, Hansen O'Malley, and Miller Governmental Relations.
