Beth Schacter wrote and directed Normal Adolescent Behavior for New Line Cinemas in 2006. The film stars Amber Tamblyn and Kelli Garner and will be released in 2007. Ain’t It Cool News, in an early review, said: It’s got something to say. It’s got real weight. This isn’t just some teen romance... Every thing is handled with a delicate touch and that’s a testament to Schacter’s sensibilities. As debut films go, this is one to be proud of. The film will premiere at the 2007 Tribeca Film Festival.
She co-write the feature film Forget Me Nots for Emerging Pictures and director Ann Hu which premiered at the 2005 LA Film Festival and starred Vivian Wu. As a journalist her work has been seen in Radar Magazine, The Hollywood Reporter and Latina Magazine.
Beth received an MFA in Screenwriting from Columbia University where she was a Film Foundation Scholar and the Hearst Award winner.
