Beth Chayim Chadashim, also called BCC, is a Jewish synagogue in Los Angeles and affiliated with Reform Judaism. Founded in 1972, it is the world's first Lesbian and Gay synagogue. Beth Chayim Chadashim means "House of New Life." Today, BCC is an inclusive community of progressive lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and heterosexual individuals, families and friends, with programs for all ages. The congregation is headed by Rabbi Lisa Edwards and Cantorial Soloist Fran Chalin.
