Beth Chamberlin

Beth Chamberlin (born October 1, 1963 in Danville, Vermont) is an American actress.

Chamberlin studied ballet with the American Ballet Theater before enrolling at New York University as a dance/theater major.
Chamberlin has a number of regional theater credits, include The Taming of the Shrew, Godspell, Flowers for Algernon and You Can't Take It With You.

Chamberlin has starred in the films The Right Way, Best Shots, and The Big Picture. She also appeared on television in Columbo, Silk Stalkings and Days of Our Lives. She has been featured in many commercial campaigns, and was recently the spokeswoman for Lysol cleaning products.
She is perhaps best known for her portrayal of Beth Raines Spaulding LeMay Winslow on Guiding Light. She was the second actress to portray the role, after Judi Evans, and initially portrayed Beth in the character's initial incarnation as a heroine from 1989 to 1991. She returned to the role in 1997. She also played the role of Lorelei Hills, Beth's disassociative identity disorder personality, from 2001-2002.
After several years as a contract player on the show, Chamberlin was taken off contract in 2005. She continues to appear regularly on the show on a recurring basis.
Chamberlin wrote the book "Lorelei's Guiding Light", based on storylines from the show.

Chamberlin has been married to Peter Roy since 1994. Their son, Lucas, was born in 2005. They live in Rockland County, NY. Chamberlin and Roy are aficionados of skiing and both provide instruction classes for skiiers.
