Best Thang Smokin' is the debut album from rapper Young Dro. It was released August 29, 2006. It was scheduled to release July 18, but was pushed back.
The first single off the album is "Shoulder Lean" featuring T.I.. It has received a large amount of airplay on radio stations everywhere and has made the top ten countdown on BET's 106 and Park over thirty days with high success of making number 1 over a single time, overall it remained in the top 5 for over ten days. The single reached number 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 and number 1 in both Hot Hip Hop/R&B Songs and Rap Tracks. The dance craze that was sparked by the music video was widely entertained by major t.v. music channels. Dro recently confirmed that the second single would be "Rubberband Banks". He hasn't released a third single off the album. He is one of the first artists ever signed to T.I.'s label, Grand Hustle.
The album not only features collaborations with labelmate T.I. but also Slim Thug and Xtaci. Production will come from Jazze Pha, Chad West, Keith Mack, and Grand Hustle's own Khao and Lil C.
