Besserud

Besserud is a station on Holmenkollbanen (line 1) on the Oslo T-bane system, between Midtstuen and Holmenkollen. It was the terminus station of the original line from its opening May 31, 1898 until May 16, 1916 when the line was extended to Frognerseteren. Besserud was called "Holmenkollen" until the line extension and the opening of the new station further up the line.

Besserud is located at an altitude of 242.2 m. The architect for the wooden station building was Paul Due.
