Bess Marvin

Bess Marvin is a character in the popular Nancy Drew mystery series. She is Nancy Drew's best friend and cousin of George Fayne. Her real name is Elizabeth. She's blonde, pretty, and blue eyed, slightly plump and is easily scared when involved in Nancy's sleuthing. She's a Girly girl, the opposite of George who is a tomboy. She loves to shop and to eat. Her boyfriend is Dave Evans. She and George were introduced in The Secret at Shadow Ranch. In the Nancy Drew Girl Detective Series, Bess is a mechanic geek while her cousin George is a computer geek.

In the Nancy Drew movie that's coming this 2007, Bess is played by Amy Bruckner.
