[edit] Lions in High Street

Berwick has changed considerably since I grew up there and the bypass means I rarely go through the main street any more, but aren't there TWO lions in the main street? I remember it became something of a tradition for them to end up painted various shades of purple or pink on New Year's Eve though I think one that has long since faded.

As far as I know there is only one... although I haven't looked that closely. --Crazycrazyduck 06:22, 7 March 2006 (UTC)
