[edit] Requested move

There was a poll to mover article "Bergenshus" to "Bergenhus", and the article about the borough to elsewhere. It ended up moving "Bergenhus" to Bergenhus fortress with unanimous consensus. The poll is now closed. -Hapsiainen

[edit] Discussion

  • support This should be straightforward, the name Bergenshus does not exist, correct is Bergenhus but I can't move the page, as this name is already in use for a stub on the borough of Bergen called Bergenhus (after the fortress). (Barend 14:08, 14 November 2005 (UTC))
  • Oppose. A borough is more important than a fortress. It is larger, and there lives more people. Boroughs are more meaningful for peoples' social identities than fortresses. Also compare this to article Greenwich, which tells about the town even when the Royal Greenwich Observatory and Greenwich Mean Time are more known. So instead move Bergenshus to Bergenhus (fortress). -Hapsiainen 21:45, 15 November 2005 (UTC)
  • Actually that sounds like a good idea. Or rather, call it Bergenhus fortress. Barend
    • The parentheses are there because then you can get [[Bergenhus (fortress)|Bergenhus]] link by simply writing [[Bergenhus (fortress)|]]. Both the links would look like Bergenhus. -Hapsiainen 21:53, 16 November 2005 (UTC)
      • Or actually it is rather indifferent to me whether there are parantheses or not in the article title. I closed the poll. -Hapsiainen 19:22, 10 December 2005 (UTC)
