Berwick Secondary College is situated in the outer Melbourne metropolitan suburb of Berwick. Until recently, it was the largest single campus government secondary college in Victoria.
Recently the school started downsizing with the majority of a block of portables removed. The school consists of approximately 1500 students and 200 teachers, principles and aides.
At the recent state election in 2006, the Victorian Labor Party promised to build a junior campus of Berwick Secondary in the Timbarra Estate. This school would serve students in years seven to nine. The campus had previously been promised at past state elections as a stand alone campus, however this proposal was rejected by the Government in 2004.
