Bertron

Bertron is a fictional DC Comics scientist working on Krypton who created The Ultimate, a being who gained the name Doomsday. In Krypton's prehistoric times, the environment was harsh and baby clones had evolved on its surface by constantly dying. Little is known about Bertron other than the fact that he created Doomsday for an experiment. It is possible his staff members are Calatonian (due to Calatonian cargo ships arriving to and fro the planet) and he has links to Krypton even though this has not been divulged and neither has Doomsday's true species, although he had most likely evolved into an Ancient Kryptonian creature. It is also possible Calaton colonized Krypton.
