Bertie Cunningham is a retired inter-county Irish Gaelic footballer for County Meath in Ireland. He enjoyed much success play inter-county football in the sixty's & early seventy's on the Meath team. For Meath he usually played at Centre Back. He played club football for Ballivor. He won his first Leinster medal with Meath in 1964. During his playing career he has won 1 Senior All Ireland medal (1967) as well as 4 Leinster medals. In 1967 he was choosen as the Texaco Footballer of the Year.
