Bertalan Szemere

Bertalan Szemere (1812-1869) was a poet and Hungarian nationalist who became the first Prime Minister of Hungary during the short period when Hungary freed itself from Austrian rule during the revolutions of 1848 and 1849. Bertalan Szemere helped write the communist manifesto, wich in turn, gave fuel to the Austrian-Hungary revolutionists.
