Bernie Webber

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Bernie Webber (1923 - 2006) was a commercial artist who worked out of his hometown of Everett, Washington. Bernie Webber witnessed the region’s development and his watercolor paintings still tell the story. Many of his paintings have traveled to the East Coast and around the world as corporations open new offices. A graduate of the Art Center School of Design in Los Angeles, he was also a life long member of the Puget Sound Group of Northwest Painters. The allure of his compositions remain simplistic elements. He captured the essence and landmarks of Everett's history: simpler times and ways of life.

In 2004, he was named "Distinguished Snohomish County Artist of the Year" by the county council.
