SS Commander of the Obersalzberg complex, Obersturmbannführer Bernhard Frank arrested Hermann Göring on April 25, 1945 by order of Adolf Hitler, who had been manipulated by Reichsleiter Bormann into believing Göring was attempting to usurp the Führer's authority.
