Bernard Evslin

Bernard Evslin (1922-1993) was an author, best known for his adaptations of Greek mythology for children such as The Adventures of Ulysses. Many think his best book was The Green Hero, Early Adventures of Finn McCool, however.[citation needed] He also wrote and produced screenplays and documentaries.

He was married to author and teacher Dorothy Evslin and is the father of cofounder and CEO of ITXC Corporation, author and blogger Tom Evslin.

Evslin's Monsters of Mythology series retold many stories from ancient mythology, often by completely changing the plot of the stories. This series includes:
