Bernard Bernoulli is a fictional character in the Maniac Mansion series of adventure games. He is a stereotypical nerd and has the usual nerd look of glasses, a dress shirt, gray slacks pulled way over his navel, and a bow tie.

Bernard is one of several playable characters in Maniac Mansion and appears as the main protagonist in Day of the Tentacle.

Bernard made his first appearance in Maniac Mansion where he was one of the 7 playable characters within the game. He has the ability to dismantle complex electronics. However, he has a fear for Green Tentacle until someone makes friends with him.

Out of the 6 playable characters in Maniac Mansion, Bernard is the only character who made it into the next game. Only this time he plays a starring role. He and the 2 other playable characters in the game (Hoagie and Laverne) must travel back in time to stop Purple Tentacle from achieving World domination.

Bernard appears three times in Sam & Max Hit the Road behind the counter of Snucky's. Each of the three are subtly different in appearance.
