Berlin-Lichtenberg is a railway station in the Lichtenberg district of Berlin. Lichtenberg is also a Berlin U-Bahn station located on the U5 and an S-Bahn station.
From Berlin-Lichtenberg, there was until to 2006 international train connections to Kaliningrad, Warsaw, Kiev, Minsk, Moskow, Siberia (among other places Omsk and Novosibirsk) and Kazakhstan. Since Berlin Hauptbahnhof was completed, these trains now stop there and terminate at Berlin Zoologischer Garten railway station and bypass Berlin-Lichtenberg and use the Berlin Stadtbahn instead. Night trains from all parts of Germany still terminate here.
