Bergem

Bergem (Luxembourgish: Biergem) is a town in the commune of Mondercange, in south-western Luxembourg. As of 2005, the town has a population of 1,474. Nearby at Lameschmillen is the confluence of the Alzette and the Mess . In the middle ages it belonged to the de Mercy family, together with the aforementioned mill and the castle at nearby Mittenthal.
