Bergantino is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Rovigo in the Italian region Veneto, located about 90 km southwest of Venice and about 40 km west of Rovigo. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,612 and an area of 18.2 km².[1]
The municipality of Bergantino contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Bugno, Ca'Poltronieri, Le Fornaci, Malpassaggio, Marchese, Prateria, and San Giovanni.
Bergantino borders the following municipalities: Borgofranco sul Po, Carbonara di Po, Castelnovo Bariano, Cerea, Legnago, Melara.
