The Bereznyak-Isayev BI-1

The Bereznyak-Isayev BI-1 was a revolutionary russian Rocket plane that was developed several years before the more widely known Messerschmitt Me 163. Unlike the German rocket fighter, the BI-1 was not lost to any fuel accidents. Following an accident, development was stopped before it could enter service with the Soviet Air Force.
