Beresfield, New South Wales

Beresfield (postcode 2322) is a north-western suburb of the City of Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia. It has a station, opened in 1925[1] on CityRail's Hunter line. It is just north of the New England Highway.

Post code 2322, including Beresfield, Tarro, Hexham and Thornton, had a population of 14,654 in 2001.[2]
