Berea (Bible)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Berea is mentioned in older versions of the Bible, for the ancient city of Beroea, now know as Veria.

It is a small city on the eastern side of Mount Olympus, where Paul of Tarsus preached, and where the people examined the Scriptures to see if his preaching was true (Acts 17:10–13)
