[edit] Regarding Cornerstone Research

There are, unfortunately, many articles on companies in the Wikipedia that are against the relevant inclusion guideline for companies. The rule of thumb I use is that the company must have been the subject of at least one article or show in the media, and companies that fail this rule are almost always not going to meet WP:COMPANY. If you can list the competitors for CR that have articles here, maybe we can get the larger audience of WP:AFD to take a look at them. Kaustuv Chaudhuri 23:07, 11 January 2007 (UTC)

Thanks, Kaustuv! I appreciate the message. I was not aware of these guidelines (I was trying to adhere, however loosely, to a common sense approach) but will certainly heed them in the future, and will read through each of the pages you suggested. I will do my best to add to the Cornerstone page -- particularly sources -- over the next several days. In answer to your question, the companies I was thinking of were Analysis Group, LECG, and NERA.Benski 23:29, 11 January 2007 (UTC)

One thing you might want to be wary of is the presence of so-called peacock terms. For example, in the lede you say that "Cornerstone Research is a leading ...". You should either find independent studies to substantiate that CR is indeed a leading somethingorother, or leave out such terms entirely. I also recommend using the standard {{Infobox Company}} template instead of inlining data such as the number of employees; see LECG for an example of its use.
